Thinking

On Mess Before Any Sense

Emptying the mind and made a mess in the process.

Emptying the mind and made a mess in the process.

Today I made progress in the eating and recreational area of my school concept design. In my concept, I tend to find that if I ‘empty my mind’ (or at least start to) by thinking about attributes, it becomes a lot easier to organise that into something cohesive and meaningful. I think its the mess before the final result. The ‘eating space’ is structured so that it is a space for improving quality of life through food and teaching children about food, where it came from, how if got there and what the ‘point’ of eating is — nourishment, connection and a celebration of life.
