Natasha J. Hussein

Natasha Hussein is founder of Super Imaginary.

Natasha believes that the world is full of inspiration, magic in the everyday and that life can be beautiful for everyone. She has a particular passion for using Science in design, reimagining the future and delivering concepts that are full of life, sensuality and surprise. This fascination was ignited during her Chemistry degree, when she specialised in Biomimicry, studying how sea urchin spines can help us design shatter proof ceramics.

As well as having spoken and shared her vision at Helsinki Design Week, Social Service Club and the Interior Design Show (IDS) Vancouver, she has also been featured in a number of leading publications including Western Living, B.C and the Vancouver Sun in 2020. In 2018, she was one of five creatives commissioned by Frame Magazine to take on their monthly ‘Challenge’ of ‘Designing for the Displaced’. This involved interpreting what ‘home’ means and applying this to the creation of a luxury hotel concept that helps people feel more at home in ones self. A school concept design was also featured in MISC Magazine by Idea Couture that redefines the experience of school by pleasure in education.

Natasha Hussein is author of the Fulfilment Manifesto. The Fulfilment Manifesto is a graphic book created in collaboration with Darren Oorloff to inspire people to live an expansive life on their own terms. This book has been endorsed by Claudio Fernandez- Araoz, author of Great People Decisions and James Allworth, co-author of How Will You Measure Your Life and contributing writer to the Harvard Business Review as well as Nick Wheeler, CEO of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts.
